About the Journal
The International Journal of Islam is a journal that is published semi-annually. The journal’s scope focuses on a wide range of topics, from classical topics to contemporary matters. The aim of the journal is to publish scholarly works in the field of Islamic Studies that tackle the classical and contemporary topics in a critical, objective and informative manner. Furthermore, IJI focuses on comprehensive analysis of a variety of articles, reviews, book reviews on specific topics and presents to its readers high quality academic works. The journal’s editorial board consists of major scholars from all over the world who are experts in their respective fields. Nonetheless, the journal is peer-reviewed and is open access, therefore, subscription is not necessary. IJI is a publication of The Lighthouse Schools: www.tlhschools.org
